Weekend Happenings

oops, a little behind on my postings...

This weekend was filled with celebrating babies (to come and baby birthdays)

Saturday. Diep and I hosted a surprise baby shower for our dear friends dan and linda who are expecting baby boy in June! I don't have many pictures, but here are a few that capture the airplane theme.

Sunday. Easter Sunday!! It was a packed house at church, with a great service.

That evening was our niece's 2nd birthday party - I can't believe she's almost TWO!! and about to be a big sister =)

Weekend happenings. Meatless Monday?

This weekend was filled with lots of family and friends, of course food too!

Friday night. Kicked off the weekend with having my family over for dinner. It was quite a sight, jamming 8 people on our little round table that is supposed to seat 4. Dinner included PW's seafood pasta, ground pork lettuce wraps, brown sugar sauteed Brussels sprouts, acme herb bread, and nations lemon meringue pie.
Saturday. Woke up to howling winds and a crazy rain storm. Got ourselves out of bed and over to the peninsula to help our dear friends, the byons, move back into the Bay :) we were treated to some yummy Korean soondubu AND the sun came out!
Sunday. Church in the morning then over to SF to do the annual cemetery visit with my inlaws. Capped the afternoon festivities off with a visit to Sizzlers (:/ can't say I'm proud of it) and then costco.
I don't have photos of the dinner yet...will upload shortly....

Last thing, with the increasing popularity of Meatless Mondays I've been considering it more and more. Shall I go for it?  Share your thoughts
